VitalStream | MedAire

The VitalStream device is a state-of-the-art, wearable device that provides continuous, real-time monitoring of vital signs.

Applied within 30 seconds, it enables crewmembers to easily transmit live vital signs data to MedAire's Doctors, helping to inform diagnosis and recommendations.

The VitalStream ensures the safety of everyone onboard and is designed for a range of different medical situations, including:

Medical emergencies (i.e. major trauma, cardiac arrest)
Management of chronic conditions (i.e. hypertension)
Preventative support (i.e. cardiovascular concerns)

There is no yearly subscription for the VitalStream.

How does the VitalStream work?

Apply the device to the patient: It places comfortably on the finger, using a soft strap (ECG and temperature probes are placed separately)
Stay Connected: It sends live health data securely to MedAire’s medical team using your yacht’s Wi-Fi connection. This means doctors can see what’s happening in real time.
Real-Time Vital Signs Tracking: The device live streams medical data, universal in the ambulance and hospital environment, to MedAire Doctors, who assess the patient and their response to treatment. This works alongside Ai-powered algorithms, which continuously monitor and alert for changes in a patient's state.
Automated Case Reports: Your case report is automatically created, which shows readings, trends, and analysis which can then be shared with your next port of call or referenced at a later date.

Continuous Blood Pressure Monitoring: The only wearable device that checks your blood pressure every heartbeat—without needing a cuff or needle. This gives doctors a much more detailed picture of your health in real time.
Advanced Heart & Circulation Monitoring: It doesn’t just check your pulse. VitalStream also looks at how well your heart is pumping blood, how much blood is moving through your body, and how hard your blood vessels are working. This helps spot problems early—before you feel unwell.
