The Golden Lifesaver Award recognizes a person who used skills learned through MedAire training to help someone in a life-threatening situation. The response may have happened in flight or on the ground, on duty or off duty.

ELIGIBILITY

Who can be nominated?

You may nominate yourself or someone else, including a coworker, family member, friend, instructor or another person familiar with the event.

MedAire training: The nominee used skills learned through MedAire training.
A life-threatening event: The response may have happened aboard an aircraft or elsewhere, while working or off duty.
A clear account: The nomination explains what happened and what the nominee did without identifying the person assisted.
