BLOOD PRESSURE: Increased heart rate (compensatory tachycardia) of 35 beats a minute above normal resting and a drop in systolic blood pressure, compared to the average for the patient's age and gender, close to 30mmHg.
PULSE OXIMETRY: Confirmed that the patient’s Oxygen levels were within the normal ranges and that no underlying conditions would preclude high flow Oxygen.
GLUCOMETER: Blood glucose levels were checked but indicated that hypoglycemia was not a cause of the patient’s fall.
ECG: Due to the patient’s age and the medications they were taking (blood pressure management) an ECG was also taken which indicated no issues.
