First Aid for In-Flight Emergencies

This course provides crewmembers with the information and skills needed to respond to medical events and emergencies calmly, accurately and safely. Your crew will gain the confidence to manage in-flight medical events effectively through engaging techniques, hands-on exercises, and real-world scenarios. 

In addition to the modules that focus on assessing, responding to and maintaining in-flight events, your crew will learn how and when to call MedAire’s MedLink or your ground-based medical advisory provider. Students get evaluated on their retention of the content, as well as the proper maintenance and demonstration of first aid training equipment.

Through analysis of your in-flight medical data and current training programme, MedAire will identify gaps and integrate real life scenarios in the training that incorporate your medical kit contents and equipment available onboard.
