Yacht Medical Kit Replenishment: What's Changed in MedAire's Ordering and Inventory System
MedAire has upgraded the system behind medical kit ordering and onboard inventory management. Replenishment quotes now generate in seconds, every kit ships with clearer pouch-by-pouch content cards, and MediTrack now appears as Inventory inside the MedAire Client Portal and eShop. This page explains what captains and yacht managers should expect on their first order.
Overview
What's new for clients
▸ Item locations are now assigned to group packs and items. New crew can identify where supplies are stored, and MedAire's medical team can direct a caller to the right place onboard during an emergency.
▸ Clearer content cards, showing what to expect in each pouch. These are replaced once only.
▸ Replenishment quotes in seconds.
▸ Enhanced quality control automations at every global fulfilment centre, supporting consistent supply wherever your vessel resupplies.
▸ Full order history and downloadable replenishment instructions available in the platform.
Onboard Response
How crew locate items in the onboard medical kit during an emergency
Each item and group pack is assigned a storage location within the kit. This helps new crew joining the vessel identify where supplies are stored, and allows MedAire's medical team to direct a caller to the right place onboard to find the relevant kit. For a crew member who joined recently, or is treating a casualty on deck at night, that removes a search which would otherwise cost minutes.
First Order
What to expect on your first order
Updated content cards
Following client feedback, your first order includes updated content cards. This is a one-time change. The new format gives clearer visibility of the items in each pouch, helping you navigate the kit with more ease.

Inventory movements
Some kits require a small number of item movements at first order. These bring pre-2021 kit designs in line with the most up-to-date configuration, ensuring items fit well within the pouches and facilitating future enhancements as medical advances and regulatory updates require.
MediTrack is now Inventory
The tool you use to view onboard supplies and log usage appears as Inventory within the MedAire Client Portal once your inventory has been migrated. You will continue to access it as you do today, and it will also be available via the MedAire eShop — making it easier to move between orders and inventory management in one place.
Payment
Quotes remain viewable and checkout remains available through the MedAire eShop, where you can pay by credit card or download an invoice to pay by bank transfer.
