Peter Tuggey

Managing Director Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia

Peter Tuggey is an accomplished aviation executive with over 30 years of global leadership experience across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Currently serving as the Managing Director for MedAire’s Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia region, Peter oversees distribution, commercial operations, and cross-regional product integration of MedAire’s professional services across some of the world’s most dynamic and diverse aviation markets.

Known for his forward-thinking and results-driven approach, Peter has successfully led MedAire through periods of transformation and expansion. Under his leadership, the business has significantly deepened its footprint across key geographies, including Europe and the Middle East, enhanced aviation medical and security solutions to better address regional client needs, and forged long-term partnerships with airlines, trade bodies, OEMs, and operators. Before Peter’s current appointment, he was the COO for MedAire, based in Phoenix, responsible for global operational oversight and distribution in the Americas region.

Before MedAire, Peter held senior leadership positions at Collins Aerospace (formerly ARINC) and, more recently, AeroMobile (a Panasonic Avionics Company). As the CCO of AeroMobile, Peter played a pivotal role in launching a new aviation technology business unit, focused on in-flight cellular communication, driving global market adoption strategies and delivering multimillion-dollar aviation service projects. Peter brings deep expertise in air transport management, in-flight communication, aviation medical / security services, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

Peter is recognised for building culturally agile teams and promoting innovation in a complex global aviation environment, and he is a passionate advocate for risk management. Originally from the United Kingdom, Peter is equally comfortable in boardrooms and hangars.
