Bill Dolny
Aviation industry veteran Bill Dolny has been MedAire's CEO since 2014, after joining in 2011 as Chief Operating Officer. Under his leadership, the business has grown twofold by expanding its medical and security crisis response services to operators across global aviation sectors. Before joining MedAire, he served as Vice President of Business Development and Sales at CAE. With over 30 years of experience in aviation safety across CAE and MedAire, he has consistently developed and implemented solutions to enhance safety, improve efficiency, maintain readiness, and address complex challenges in the aviation industry.

A pilot's perspective at the leadership table
Educated in Six Sigma Quality Management Tools and Methodology, Bill holds an Executive MBA with honors from Southern Methodist University and a B.B.A. in Management and Aviation Administration from the University of North Dakota. A commercial instrument pilot since 1993, he approaches every strategic decision with operational insight and a commitment to understanding client needs.
MedAire receives the 2024 Clifford Henderson Trophy
In 2024, the National Aeronautic Association presented the Clifford Henderson Trophy to MedAire for its commitment to advancing aviation safety. Bill Dolny and Joan Sullivan Garrett accepted the award on MedAire's behalf during NBAA-BACE.
