Managing Security & Medical Alerts in the MedAire Portal

CUSTOMIZE HOW YOU RECEIVE SECURITY, MEDICAL, AND AVIATION SECURITY (AVSEC) ALERTS THROUGH THE MEDAIRE PORTAL BY ADJUSTING NOTIFICATION SETTINGS. FILTER ALERTS BY TYPE, SEVERITY LEVEL, AND GEOGRAPHIC REGION, ENSURING YOU ONLY RECEIVE RELEVANT INFORMATION.

The MedAire Portal provides comprehensive alert management tools that allow travelers to control which security and medical notifications they receive via email. By accessing the notification settings, users can:

  • Select Alert Types: Toggle between Security, Medical, AVSEC Breaking, and AVSEC Standard alerts
  • Filter by Severity: Choose specific severity levels (Notice, Advisory, Special Advisory, Evacuation levels) to control the urgency threshold of alerts received
  • Customize by Geography: Select entire regions (Africa, Americas, APAC, Europe, MENA) or specific countries to limit alerts to relevant travel destinations
  • Refine Country Selection: Add or remove individual countries from regional selections for precise geographic filtering

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Navigate to https://app.medaire.com/app/index.html
  2. Click the plus button to open the main menu
  3. Select the gear icon to access settings
  4. Click "Notifications" to view alert management options
  5. Check or uncheck alert types and severity levels as needed (uncheck all boxes to disable alerts completely)
  6. Use the "Search country or region" field to select specific geographic areas
  7. Choose entire regions or search for individual countries to refine alert delivery
