MedAire Announces New U.K. Management
Richard Moore Named Managing Director, MedAire Ltd.

TEMPE, Ariz., April 4, 2007 – Tempe, Ariz.-based MedAire, Inc. (ASX Code: MDE), a global provider of remote medical education, expertise and equipment, has named Richard Moore managing director of MedAire Ltd., a the wholly-owned subsidiary located in Farnborough, England.

As managing director, Moore is responsible for managing daily business operations. A professional with 30 years of high-level corporate and aeronautical experience, Moore also is responsible for sales, marketing and customer support in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He also oversees strategic alliance partners in the region, and is responsible for driving market growth and new product development. 

Before joining MedAire, Moore was general manager for Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Ltd., a manufacturer of aero-engines for helicopter and military jet aircraft, and Rolls-Royce Snecma Ltd., which undertook propulsion projects in the Unmanned Air Vehicle market. 

Moore has held similar executive responsibilities with other companies, including Thales Air Traffic Management where he rationalized a business unit and delivered an international airport construction project in the Far East. His management, leadership and sales and marketing expertise also extend to companies such as Honeywell Space and Aviation Control Ltd., Dowty Aerospace Ltd. and Lucas Aerospace Ltd.

A Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society with an aerospace design engineering background, Moore earned a BSc degree in mechanical engineering from Aston University. He also holds an MBA from University of Bath and participated in Harvard University’s Advanced Program for Directors, offered through Honeywell Inc.
