CEO, Joan Sullivan Garrett, Elected to
Arizona Business Leadership Association Board
TEMPE, Ariz. (Sept 21, 2005) – MedAire, Inc. founder and CEO, Joan Sullivan Garrett has been elected to the Arizona Business Leadership Association
(www.azbl.org) Board of Directors.
The 215 member leadership organization meets monthly providing programs, strategic leadership education, development and executive-level networking for Valley executives.
Ms. Garrett joins a Board of 15 members and will be serving for a three-year term.
MedAire most recently won ASU’s
W.P. Carey School of Business “Spirit of Enterprise” Award and in 2001 Ms. Garrett was named as one of Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneurs of the Year. She also serves as vice-chairman on the Board of Directors for Alexandria, VA.-based Flight Safety Foundation.
“I firmly believe that we learn the most through ‘doing,’” said Ms. Garrett. “And it’s my intentions to dig in and do as much as I can to add value to the Board and Association as a whole.”
