Let MedAire Train your
Trainers
Did you know that neurological events – such as fainting – are the
leading cause of in-flight MedLink calls? Gastrointestinal events come in a close second.
Knowing these statistics, it is clear that flight attendants need to know
much more than just CPR to effectively assist passengers.
Only MedAire has access to such insight – gleaned from actual medical incidents onboard 72 carriers who trust the advice of MedLink physicians annually.
Our curriculum reflects this intimate knowledge in a way that other programs simply cannot. Choose from our 3-day or 5-day*
Management of Inflight Illness and Injury Train-the-Trainer courses that will give your instructors the knowledge and tools to train your flight crew. Not only will you receive lesson plans and PowerPoint presentations, when you sign a two-year agreement, your instructors will receive free information updates. There’s no curriculum redesign or maintenance required on your part!
In addition to the new American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines for CPR and AED use, your instructors will learn altitude physiology, in-flight emergencies/scenarios, how to use AEDs, Basic Life Support, travel health and traumatic emergency procedures.
Because MedAire speaks the airline language and operates in the airline environment daily, we are familiar with the type of equipment you have on your aircraft and where it is stowed, as well as standard airline protocols. We review this information with you before we train your trainers, ensuring a truly customized approach to airline and passenger safety.
*Our 5-day course provides authority to issue new AHA cards to crew upon completion of training.
