HEALTH & SECURITY RISKS IN EMERGING MARKETS
Thought Leader in Pandemics and International Corporate Health
Presenting at 2011 NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention

Las Vegas, NV – OCTOBER 10, 2011 –  Myles Druckman, M.D., will present on behalf of MedAire at the NBAA 64th Annual Meeting & Convention in Las Vegas on the health challenges executives and business aviation crew may face when traveling to an emerging market.

The presentation, Health & Security Risks in Emerging Markets, will be held in room N237 at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Tuesday, October 11, from 1:00 - 2:30 pm.

“It’s an important topic for the business aviation industry,” said Grant Jeffery, CEO of MedAire, an International SOS company.  “Not only are corporate flight departments managing trips to new destinations, these new destinations may not have the same health and safety resources available as more developed countries.  Flight departments need to research their destinations, continually monitor for potential threats, and have a plan in place should a health or security event occur.”

The presentation will review some of the unique health and safety risks that may arise when traveling to emerging markets, and considerations for building a health and security plan to mitigate risk to crew and passengers.

Dr. Druckman is Vice President, Medical Services for International SOS.  Considered a leading disease outbreak and pandemic expert, Dr. Druckman has served as a resource for international and national media such as CBS Evening News, CNN, CNBC, Forbes and Consumer Reports.
